The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the thundershowers, accompanied active winds, are still forecasted to fall on the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, extending to southern parts of Makkah region, while thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds, will continue to occur on some parts of Najran Region and the southern parts of the Eastern Region (Empty Quarter). The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly on northern and central parts, and southerly to southwesterly on southern part at speed of 14-38 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southeasterly to easterly at speed of 10-30km/h.
