The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session held on Tuesday afternoon at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah. During the session, the Cabinet addressed the recent talks that took place between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a number of countries, including the two letters received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister from the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the President of the Republic of Costa Rica. This is in addition to the phone call HRH the Crown Prince received from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi said that the Cabinet reviewed reports on the developments of the situations in various arenas and the international efforts being exerted towards them to maintain the security and stability of the region. The Cabinet appreciated the efforts made to develop the local content in various sectors and maximize its economic impact on the gross product, to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as the agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia has reported the highest growth rate in its history, exceeding SAR 72 billion, with a growth rate of 7.8% compared to the previous year. The Cabinet was briefed on a number of issues on its agenda and issued the following decisions: The Cabinet also reviewed several issues on its agenda and took necessary procedures regarding them. First: Authorizing the Minister of Foreign Affairs- or a deputy - to discuss with the Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) a draft headquarters agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Council, in light of the headquarters agreements concluded between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and international organizations, and the agreement on the Privileges and Immunities of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and lifting that to complete the necessary. Second: Authorizing the Minister of Culture - or a deputy - to discuss with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), sign it and refer the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. Third: Authorizing the Minister of Culture - or a deputy - to discuss with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) a draft memorandum of understanding to launch Arab Translation Observatory between the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), sign it and refer the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. Fourth: Approving two agreements in the fields of employing workforce and domestic workers between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Burundi. Fifth: Authorizing the Minister of Transport and Logistics - or a deputy - to discuss with the Bahraini side two draft memorandums of understanding in the field of road safety and maintenance and the future of transport between the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Transport and Communications in the Kingdom of Bahrain, sign them and refer the final signed copies to proceed with formal procedures. Sixth: Authorizing the Minister of Health - or a deputy - to discuss with the Uzbek side a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the health fields between the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Uzbekistan, sign it and refer the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. Seventh: Approving memorandum of understanding between the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Justice of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Eighth: Authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) - or a deputy - to discuss with the UAE side a draft memorandum of understanding between the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to cooperate in the field of developing tools of assessment, measurement and accreditation, sign it and refer the final signed copy to proceed with formal procedures. Ninth: Approving the controls for securing military clothing, as mentioned in the resolution. Tenth: Approving the rules governing the Competencies and Contractors Program. Eleventh: The Cabinet renewed the membership of Dr. Abdulhamid bin Abdullah Al-Harqan as Chairman, Dr. Abdullatif bin Mohammad Al Al Sheikh, and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Majed as members of the committee of the Patents Law and Layout Designs for Integrated Circuits, Plant Varieties and Industrial Models, and Pointing Dr. Abdulaziz bin Khalid Al-Hamoudi and Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mushabab Al-Ahmari as members of the committee. Twelfth: The Cabinet approved the final accounts of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, the General Commission for Guardianship of the Trust Funds For Minors and Their Counterparts, and the General Authority for Competition. Thirteenth: The Cabinet approved promotions for the fifteenth and fourteenth ranks, as follows: - Abdulrahman bin Abdullah bin Fadel Al-Dafas to the position of Senior Financial Advisor, at the fifteenth rank, at the Ministry of Finance. - Ali bin Ayedh bin Qaddah bin Hassossah Al-Qahtani to the position of Senior Economic Advisor, at the fifteenth rank, at the Ministry of Finance. - Abdulaziz bin Mohammad bin Mufrej Al-Manea to the position of Business Advisor, at the fourteenth rank, at the Ministry of Interior. - Eng. Adel bin Mohammad bin Ali Al-Aql to the position of Civil Engineering Advisor, at fourteenth rank, at the Ministry of Health. - Ahmed bin Mohammad bin Ali bin Balous to the position of Religious Research Advisor, at fourteenth rank, at the General Presidency of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice. The Cabinet also reviewed a number of general topics on its agenda, including annual reports of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the National Development Fund, the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate, the General Organization for Social Insurance, King Abdulaziz University, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, and the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority, and the Cabinet has taken the necessary measures regarding these issues.
