The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, received here today a delegation, headed by the Advisor to the Chadian President Issa Dobran, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Chad to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Zakaria Fadel Kater. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest related to development projects financed by the SFD in Chad, challenges in the projects being implemented and plans for sustainable solutions. The Chadian president's advisor expressed his thanks and appreciation for the development efforts exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques through its contributions and support for development projects in Chad over the past years through the SFD, as these development projects contributed to achieving sustainable development goals. It is noteworthy that the Kingdom, through the SFD, provided 7 development loans to finance 6 development projects and programs to support the infrastructure, water, education, transport and communications sectors in Chad, with an estimated value of more than $131 million, in addition to two grants for the Saudi Well Drilling and Rural Development Program in Africa for the third and fifth phases, with a value of $13 million, to contribute to achieving economic growth and social prosperity.
