Date Festival, organized by the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al-Qassim, has registered sales exceeding SAR 62 million in the first seven days of its opening, where the market, according to the statistics committee at the festival, has received more than 9,000 vehicles loaded with over 3,000 tons of various types of dates. The festival is witnessing a high marketing activity among its sides of farmers, consumers and date companies and factories, where consumers prefer festival days to buy dates and store it frozen for consumption for the rest of the year. Every year, Buraidah Date Festival witnesses new youth start-up projects in the field of dates and its transformative industries and join the labor market.
