Date Festival opted for exporting its production of dates outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to contribute to enhancing Saudi exports, where the date sector ranked first globally with a value of SAR 1.215 billion during 2021. Al-Qassim Region annually produces more than 300,000 tons of dates, where farmers seek to break this number with planting more than two million additional palm trees to increase production and contribute to realizing Saudi Vision 2030 through boosting non-oil revenues.
