The Palestinian Authority announced today that the UN Security Council will hold a meeting next Monday to discuss the Israeli brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip. The Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, stated that his country had submitted a request to hold a session to discuss the occupation's aggression against the Palestinians. He stressed that the Security Council bears the responsibility of maintaining international peace and security, responding to the imperatives of condemning and stopping the aggression and providing international protection for the Palestinians.
