The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active winds will be forecasted to fall on some parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir and Baha regions, as well as Makkah heights, while the thunderstorms, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to occur on southern parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions and some parts of Riyadh and Eastern regions will witness extreme temperatures. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly at speed of 16-36 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly at speed 15-30 km/h.
