The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate to torrential thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds on the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir and some parts of Empty Quarter will be continued, along with an opportunity for thunderstorms over the heights of Al-Baha and Makkah and Madinah, while surface dusty winds will be active on Eastern, Riyadh and Qassim regions and some parts of Northern Borders Region and the temperature will remain very high on eastern and central of the Kingdom. The report showed that the surface wind movement on the Red Sea today will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 18-42 km/h on northern and central parts and southerly to southwesterly at speed of 16-38 km/h. The report also showed that the surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf today will be northeasterly to northerly at a speed of 15-30 km/h.
