The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that thunderstorms, accompanied by active dusty winds are forecasted to fall on southern parts of Eastern Region (the Empty Quarter) and southern parts of Riyadh region (Wadi Al Dawasir), as well as Najran region, reducing horizontal sight, while partly cloudy weather on Jazan region. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southwesterly to westerly at speed of 15-30 km/h on northern part and northwesterly at speed of 15-30 km/h on central part and southerly to southwesterly at speed of 20-40 km/h on the southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northeasterly at speed 15-30.
