Minister of State for Religious Affairs of Bangladesh Mohammed Faridul Haq Khan praised the Kingdom's efforts and services provided to the pilgrims, to facilitate the performance of the Hajj and Umrah rituals peacefully and in tranquility. The minister highlighted the Kingdom's keenness to ensure the comfort of pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the authorities for their cooperation, overcoming difficulties, and their role in the success of the "Makkah Route" initiative. The Ministry of Interior is implementing the initiative in cooperation with the ministries of "Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj and Umrah", the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authorities, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority "SDAIA", Pilgrim Experience Program, the General Directorate of Passports, and Elm Company. The Saudi Ministry of Interior has launched the "Makkah Route" Initiative in five countries, including Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco, and Bangladesh, as part of the Guests of Al Rahman Program, one of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 programs, which aims to finalize the travel procedures of pilgrims who benefit from the initiative in their respective countries, starting with issuing the visa electronically and taking vital characteristics, and then passing through the complete passport procedures at the airport of the country of departure after verifying the availability of health requirements, in addition to coding and sorting luggage per transportation and accommodation arrangements in the Kingdom.
