HRC President Receives Finnish Parliamentary Delegation

President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad met here today with a delegation from the Parliament of Finland headed by Representative Hussein Al-Tai, the Chairman of the Finnish-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group in Parliament, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Awwad highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince in promoting and protecting human rights, hailing the developments witnessed by the Kingdom in various fields towards achieving sustainable development in accordance with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
The two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest and aspects of constructive bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and Finland in the field of human rights and ways to enhance and develop them.
