The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) pavilion at the International Book and Publishing Fair in Rabat in the Kingdom of Morocco witnessed yesterday, Saturday a dialogue session to introduce the Organization's program for the capitals of culture in the Islamic world, and the motives for declaring Rabat as the capital of culture in the Islamic world 2022. The session was held with the participation of ICESCO Director General, Dr. Salim M. AlMalik; the Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture and communicator, Mehdi Bensaid and several personalities from the world of culture and thought. During the session, Dr. AlMalik stressed that the selection of the city of Rabat as the capital of culture in the Islamic world for 2022 is due to its literary and cultural richness and historical landmarks.
