The scientific forum titled "Security Media during Crises and Disasters" started today, which is being organized by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in Rabat from 16 to 18 March, 2022. ICESCO Director-General Dr. Salim Al-Malik said that the forum focuses on building the capacities of institutions, governments and decision-makers to consolidate a culture of prevention in the Islamic world, integrating disaster risk management into educational curricula and promoting scientific research and artificial intelligence applications. Vice President for External Relations at NAUSS Dr. Khalid Al-Harfash said that NAUSS endeavors to translate the issue of security media into a tangible reality. It is worth mentioning that the first day of the three-day forum included the first session which touched new media, crisis, and disaster management, followed by the second session on the lessons learned from the COVID-19 crisis, and the third session on security media and the role of the security services.
