The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that thunderstorms, accompanied by active surface winds will be forecasted to fall on Jazan, Asir and Baha heights, extending to Makkah heights, while the sky wil be partly cloudy on Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Northern Borders and Jawf regions, as well as the northern parts of Eastern Region. The report added that Jawf, Hail, Qassim and Riyadh regions will witness dust winds, while the Red Sea coast will witness humid weather and the fog will be seen on its northern and southern parts. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southeasterly to southerly, gradually turning southwesterly to westerly at a speed of 20-30 km/h, on northern part and northerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-30 km/h, on central part and southwesterly to westerly, gradually turning northwesterly at speed of 15-30 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h.
