The Saudi relief delegation, led by Dr. Abdulrahman Alsuwailim, the Chairman of the Saudi Red Crescent Society has concluded an inspection tour of the areas inflicted by the earthquake and tsunami that recently hit South Asia. Upon arrival in Riyadh yesterday, Dr. Alsuwailim said the delegation had made a tour of the disastrous areas, supervised the distribution of the relief assistance to the victims, and held meetings with concerned officials in these areas. He noted that the 12-day tour had come in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, to provide the victims of the earthquake and tsunami with urgent relief assistance.
