The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia explained that it had sought in the context of a clear and comprehensive vision to promote reforms, raise the level of the Saudi society and build the institutions of civil society to have a positive role in the process of reforms in the Kingdom. This came in the Kingdom's statement delivered by Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations, before the seventh session of the Forum for the Future / the Group of Eight currently being held in the Qatari capital Doha under the title of //The Broader Middle East and North Africa//. The Saudi official said all categories of the Saudi society effectively contributed to the development of this vision as the basic principle of reforms is that they should stem from the inside, be consistent with the principles that we believe in, adapt to the identity of the Saudi society and culture based on principles of consultation, justice and equality, meet the needs of society and its requirements and ultimately be in the interest of citizens and their stability and aspirations with benefiting from the experiences of other communities when needed. The official reviewed Saudi achievements in cooperation with all civil society's institutions highlighting contribution by civil society's institutions to economic reforms with effective participation by the private sector. He underlined Saudi great support for education and Saudi citizens' development. On the Middle East problems, he said they should be dealt with through a more just and positive policy mentioning in this regard the Palestinian issue and the peace process.
