The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché in India, has continued since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan to implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's program for Ramadan Iftar in the Republic of Sri Lanka, under the follow-up of Chargé d'Affairs of Saudi Embassy in Colombo, Abdulelah Arkobi. The number of beneficiaries of the program reached 2,800 and 300 food baskets were distributed to the poor and needy through the attaché in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's embassy in Sri Lanka, and in coordination and communication with official charities and centers registered with government agencies, targeting the largest number of beneficiaries during the blessed month. Beneficiaries of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' iftar program expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this benefaction, praying to Allah to sustain blessings, prosperity and welfare on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
