Saudi Arabia has transferred the fourth installment of its grant to Jordan to support the budget of $50 million. The decision comes out of the close brotherly ties between the two Kingdoms, and an affirmation by Saudi Arabia of its strong support for the people and government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to support its development projects in the general budget. The installment is in implementation of directives by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince at the Makkah Summit in 2018, which brought together the leaders of (the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates) to present a package of economic aid to Jordan in the amount of (2.5) billion dollars from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait, including providing annual support to the budget of the Jordanian government from each of the three countries for a period of five years at the rate of (50) fifty million dollars annually.
