The Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism (IMCTC) received the military attache of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Ghulam Farooq. During the visit, the Brig. Gen was briefed on the IMCTC's efforts to combat terrorism in four aspects, "intellectual, media, combating terrorist financing and the military", and the role it plays to coordinate and intensify the efforts of the member states, in addition to discussing ways of cooperation between IMCTC and Bangladesh. For his part, Brigadier General Farooq praised the IMCTC's role in serving the interests of its member states, concerning the various fields of combating terrorism, citing the achievements of the coalition in combating terrorism and violent extremist ideology.
