The Vice President of Indonesia Mohammed Yousef Kala received at his office in Jakarta today visiting Dr. Abdulrahman Alsowailim, Head of the Saudi Red Crescent Society who leads a Saudi relief delegation to Indonesia. During the meeting, Alsowailim lauded the cooperation between the Indonesian authorities and the Saudi relief missions in delivering assistance to the needy in Indonesia while the vice president hailed the efforts of the Saudi government in this regard. Following the meeting, Alsowailim held a press conference, highlighting the Saudi relief aid to tsunami-hit people. He disclosed that he will open, during his visit to the Indonesian province of Itche tomorrow, a Saudi Liaison office to follow-up relief operations and distribute the donated materials over the needy. He said he met with a number of officials to be fully acquainted with the needs of the those who are suffering from the earthquake and tsunami.
