President Samia Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania received today at the Presidential Palace Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Advisor Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the President. For her part, the President sent her greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The President praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's tireless efforts in support of regional and international efforts to lay the foundations for security and stability, resolve conflicts on the African continent and advance development and investment in it. During discussions, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields to serve the aspirations of the two countries, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international events and issues of common interest. During the meeting, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania expressed her country's support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's bid to host the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh. For his part, Advisor Qattan expressed the Saudi government's thanks for this support, which emanates from the distinguished relations between the two countries. Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Tanzania Abdullah bin Ali Al-Sheryan attended the meeting.
