In line with the Saudi relief campaign for helping the Tsunami victims in countries of South and Southeaster Asia, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has continued its humanitarian efforts by starting on Saturday, an urgent relief program in the Indonesian city of Banda Aceh and the adjacent villages involving distribution of foodstuff such as rice, oil, sugar, salt, tomatoes as well as clothes. WAMY representatives in the area said the distribution has covered so far six villages around Banda Aceh where three thousand families have benefited from the program which will continue for one month in the province. It is worth mentioning that WAMY has contributed from the first days of the disaster an amount of SR. 300,000 to support the tsunami relief efforts.
