The Federation of Saudi Chambers will host next Sunday the "Saudi-Mauritanian Business Forum" in Riyadh, which will be attended by the Saudi Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, and the Mauritanian Minister of Trade, Handicrafts, and Tourism, Al-Naha bint Hamdi Ould Meknes, and an accompanying delegation of business owners and representatives from the economic sectors. The Federation of Saudi Chambers stressed that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 seeks to strengthen economic ties with other countries, including Mauritania, to raise the rate of trade exchange between the two countries. The Federation indicated that the Saudi-Mauritanian economic relations are moving steadily towards more partnership and cooperation, especially in light of the great opportunities available in both countries. Earlier, the Federation hosted a delegation of one hundred Mauritanian companies and institutions in various sectors to the Kingdom, as the two sides discussed means to increase joint economic and investment cooperation. The Federation cited Saudi investments in Mauritania in various economic sectors, especially in agriculture, fisheries and minerals, adding that it looks forward to increasing mutual investments, and holding the Saudi-Mauritanian Business Forum, which provides an opportunity for business owners from both sides to expand the horizons of cooperation in all economic fields, and to be acquainted with the investment and commercial opportunities available to the business sectors in the two countries.
