The Minister of Justice Dr. Walid bin Mohammad Al-Samaani met here yesterday with the Britain's Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Secretary, Dominic Raab. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the judicial field between the two ministries. Dr. Al-Samaani stressed that the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince, in continuous development and improvement, covering all sectors, through transformational projects launched during the past years, brought about great qualitative leaps to serve the Kingdom, its people and its residents. He pointed out, during his meeting with his British counterpart, that the interest and support of the Kingdom's leadership contributed to a qualitative developmental shift in the judicial and justice sector in the Kingdom at its substantive and procedural levels, indicating that this developmental work is characterized by the application of the concept of institutional justice, the activation of the specialized judiciary, and support for human rights, in addition to the digital transformation of judicial services in courts and notaries, which contributed to the digitization of more than 130 judicial and justice services.
