Another batch comprising 87 personnel of Pakistan Army engineers and paramedical staff has left in two C-130 aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to carry out relief operations in Tsunami hit areas of Indonesia, an official statement said. Director General Army Engineers Maj-Gen Asif Ali saw troops off at Chaklala air base near Islamabad. The statement said relief operations by the Pakistan army doctors and paramedics, which proceeded to Indonesia on January 3 and 6 in four C-130 aircraft to participate in relief operations continued. Pakistani doctors have treated hundreds of patients of Lameeneurnt, refugee camp and provided medical treatment and medicines to them. There are over 1,500 refugees in the camp. Hundreds of patients have been provided necessary medical treatment. Authorities coordinating the relief operation in Indonesia have requested the Pakistan contingent to establish medical camp and carry out rehabilitation work in Lamno, a small town of around 3000 inhabitants 80 kilometers north of Bande Ache, worst hit by Tsunami.
