King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), yesterday in Jordan launched the 2021 Winter Clothing Project in its second phase, which targets underprivileged Jordanian households and Syrian and Palestinian refugees. The project includes distributing winter clothes and blankets to 31,911 families in 11 governorates with the aim of meeting their needs during the winter season. KSrelief's Branch Director in Jordan Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Huzaim said: "This project is an extension of ongoing projects to cover the basic needs of underprivileged families and refugees in Jordan in coordination with the relevant official institutions." For his part, JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said that the project has been implemented over the third consecutive year with the support of KSrelief, noting that the total number of these projects has totaled so far 264,245 people from the targeted categories across Jordan.
