Iraq's neighboring countries foreign ministers concluded a meeting in Amman today to discuss the situation in Iraq and the efforts exerted to bring about security and stability and pave the way for holding the first post-Saddam general elections in the civil-stricken Arab country. The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers of Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Turkey. Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister, represents the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Informed sources said the ministers approved in a three-hour closed-door meeting the final communiqué which underscored the importance of preserving the unity of Iraq and its stability and called for non-interference in its internal affairs.
