Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef stressed the importance of using technology for the private sector, especially in the industry and mining, and attracting skilled people, in addition to the necessity for openness and adaptation to development in general to ensure a good institutional income. During his participation in a session titled: "Ai, Automation, and the New World of Work" within the activities of the second day of the fifth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), with the participation of Former President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources highlighted the importance of the concept of change in the private sector, indicating that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has huge potential and distinguished geographic location to be a logistics platform, competing with its products in the global market. He said that the job opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors, nowadays, are better and more than the opportunities in the past, and the two sectors will provide qualitative and appropriate opportunities for young men and women. "Now, the goal is to provide young men and women who are looking for jobs with the skills necessary for the current and future jobs in the industrial and mining sectors. The human capacity development program is an important part in developing their skills", he concluded.
