The Third Eurasian Women's Forum, which is organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, kicked off today in St. Petersburg, Russia under the title: "Women: A Global Mission in a New Reality", with the participation of the Shura Council delegation headed by Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hanan bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi. In a statement, Dr. Al-Ahmadi said that the participation of the Council in this forum stresses the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, on the importance of the effective participation in various international events in a way that enhances the status of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the regional and international levels. In this regard, she also referred to the keenness of Speaker of Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and his continuous support to boost the Council's contributions and presence in various international parliamentary forums and events. Dr. Al-Ahmadi praised the achievements of the Saudi women, under the support of the wise leadership, at various levels.
