The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent cables of condolences to the leaders of Indonesia, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka on the casualties and damage caused by the earthquake and consequent floods which took place in some parts of their countries.
Similar cables were sent to the leaders by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.
