The National Malaria Control Program yesterday in Lahij Governorate, Yemen, distributed medicines and special equipment for treating and inspecting malaria and dengue for several health facilities in the governorate. The assistance is financed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and under the supervision of the World Health Organization. Program Director in Lahij Adel Al-Sayyed said that "the program, since last March till today, has provided several health facilities with various amounts of medicines of malaria, in addition to malaria and dengue rapid test devices provided by KSrelief free of charge for all health facilities in the governorate". This comes as part of the projects that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia implements, through KSrelief, in the field of environmental sanitation in various Yemeni governorates.
