The World Health Organization (WHO), in cooperation with King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), held here Friday a two-day training course, in the field of malaria control and prevention, benefiting 25 health personnel. It is noteworthy that KSrelief, in cooperation with the WHO, is implementing an 18-month executive program worth more than $10 million. This comes within the framework of the continuous support, provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, in the health sector, to Yemen. KSrelief implements sanitation project in Hajjah Governorate In Hajjah, the KSrelief continued implementing the water supply and environmental sanitation project, in the Yemeni governorate of Hajjah. During the period Jan. 14-20, 2021, 986,000 liters of non-drinking water and 328,000 liters of drinking water were pumped into tanks, 10 fog spraying campaigns were carried out to combat epidemics, waste was removed from refugees camps, benefiting 6,320 individuals. KSrelief distributes over 32 tons of food baskets, in South Darfur In Khartoum, KSrelief distributed Friday 32 tons and 100 kilograms of food baskets for the affected people and needy families, in South Darfur, Sudan, benefiting 1,800 people. This comes within the framework of the KSrelief's project to secure and distribute the food baskets in Sudan. — SPA
