The Pakistan railways has decided to establish rail links with Afghanistan, officials said. Pakistan railways has already been linked with Iran. Officials said that Pakistani experts have explored routes of a number of Central Asian countries and the mountain-region of Afghanistan. A feasibility report has been submitted to the government. In the first phase, officials said, the Balochistan province's city of Chaman would be linked with Spin Boldak in Afghanistan by the Pakistani engineers. Later, the link would be expanded to Kandhar and Khushka, the border point of Turkmenistan involving international funding, officials said.
