Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, his Sudanese Counterpart Omar Hassan Al-Basheer, and Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zinawi will hold a tripartite meeting in Khartoum on Monday. Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr Al-Karbi said in a statement to the Sanaa-based 'Al-Wuhda' newspaper that the tripartite summit will review a number of political, security and economic issues. It will also review the vision of Yemen to attain security and stability in the region and means of developing economic relations among Yemen, Sudan and Ethiopia as well as coordination of efforts for fighting terrorism. Dr Al-Karbi expected that Somalian President Abdullah Yousef would join the summit, which would be preceded by meetings of the preparatory committees on December 25-26.
