Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa confirmed the support of all the Gulf Cooperation Council member states for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its fight against terrorism. He said "we firmly stand by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as this dangerous epidemic doesn't threaten the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alone but also all countries of the region and the world at large". We have agreed to set up mechanisms to exchange information about terrorist operations and illusive ways of getting financed, including money laundering, he said. This came in a joint press conference held by the Bahraini senior minister and the GCC Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Hamad Alatiyyah at the summit's information center following the end of the GCC 25th summit in Manama today. Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak said Bahrain has established a Bahrain-based Middle East and North Africa center in charge of combating money laundering crimes and hindering the finance of the terrorist operations. --More 2147 Local Time 1847 GMT
