Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and head of the medical and surgical team Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah said that the separation surgery of the Yemeni parasitic twin is going faster than planned, and the twins are in stable condition. Dr. Al Rabeeah pointed out that the surgery is currently in the fifth stage that includes separating the pelvic area of the intruding part and repairing the pelvic area of baby Aisha. Regarding the Saudi program for separating Siamese twins, he said that the program has been implemented for more than three decades, during which more than 50 surgeries have been conducted, which made the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia among the most experienced countries in the field. He added that this process reflects the great support for the health sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 under the leadership and follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. He noted that this process also highlights the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's care for humanitarian action and its leading role in the health sector. Dr. Al Rabeeah also stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is among the biggest countries that offer humanitarian assistance for the world without any considerations related to gender, color, race, boundaries or politics, and this message is also applied in the program for separating the Siamese twins.
