Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari held talks Monday with President Gen. Pervez Musharraf during a visit to discuss Iraq's reconstruction and elections slated for next month, an official said. Zebari met with Musharraf in Rawalpindi, a city near Islamabad, where the general's office and official residence are located, an official in Musharraf's office said on condition of anonymity. He gave no further details. Zebari was also scheduled to meet Monday with his counterpart, Khursheed Kasuri, for discussions on security, the Jan. 30 elections in Iraq and how Pakistan can play a role in Iraq's rebuilding, a Foreign Ministry official said on condition of anonymity. Zebari is expected to meet with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday before returning home.
