Nearly 100 million listeners throughout the world, including pilgrims of this year, benefited from the translation into ten different languages of the Hajj main sermon delivered to mark the Day of Arafa for the year 1442 H. The translation was live transmit for non-Arabic speaking Muslims and non-Muslims all over the world as part of the "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques project for translating the Sermon of Arafa and Sermons of the Two Holy Mosques", affiliated to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. According to official statistics, the listening rate of beneficiaries of the translation of the sermon was as follows: Malay (53.5%), English (12.4%), French (7.8%), Chinese (6.3%), Urdu (4.4%), Persian (3.7%), Bengali (3.4%), Hausa (3.2%), Russian (2.8%) and Turkish (2.5%).
