The Saudi authority assigned to translate Hajj sermons to the world has decided to transmit live the annual speech delivered on the Day of Arafat in ten international languages expected to be received by over 50 million Muslims worldwide. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Project to Translate the Sermons of the Two Holy Mosques, an affiliate of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, is set to translate live Arafat Mount Day speech, the largest project of its kind, from Namira mosque located in Arafat valley, where pilgrims assemble at the peak of Hajj, in English, French, Indonesian, Urdu, Persian, Chinese, Turkish, Bengali, Hausa and Malay, said Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi, Under-Secretary-General for Translation and Technical Affairs. He added that the three-year old project, initiated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, shall reach its beneficiaries through an application dedicated to translating the sermon on mobile devices, the presidency's website, and the Manarat Al-Haramain platform.
