President of the Republic of Iraq Barham Salih received here today Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the Minister of Commerce conveyed the greetings and congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to the Iraqi President on the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. For his part, the Iraqi President requested Dr. Al-Qasabi to convey his greetings, appreciation and congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, on this occasion. During the meeting, they reviewed the close relations between the two countries and the two peoples and ways of enhancing them in all fields. President Barham Salih affirmed the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations and expanding horizons of cooperation in various fields through the Joint Coordination Council, especially in the economic, commercial, agricultural, investment and oil fields to achieve the interests of the peoples of the two countries. For his part, Dr. Al-Qasabi affirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting the security and stability of Iraq, and to strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the two countries, in the economy, investment and trade fields in the interest of the two peoples.
