The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on the Regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha as well as the southern parts of Riyadh Region. There will be a chance of thunderstorms on some parts of the Eastern Region, Riyadh and the heights of Makkah and Madinah. Meanwhile, surface winds will be active on Makkah Region coasts, which will reduce horizontal visibility. In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 18-42 km/h on the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 15-48 km/h on the southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 15-38 km/h.
