The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) forecasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as thunderstorms accompanied by active winds, reducing horizontal visibility, on Najran and Riyadh Regions as well as the southern parts of the Eastern Region. Thunderstorms accompanied by active winds are expected on the heights of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha; meanwhile, surface winds will be active, reducing horizontal visibility, on the eastern parts of Makkah and southwestern heights. In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 18-42 km/h on the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 15-35 km/h on the southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be easterly to southeasterly at a speed of 15-35 km/h.
