Prince Miteb inaugurates Saudi Building Code Forum

Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs inaugurated here today the 2nd Forum of Saudi Building Code.
Upon arrival at the venue, Prince Miteb was received by Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of Boards of Directors of Saudi Arabian Authority for Specifications and Standardization and of Saudi Authority of Engineers; and number of officials.
A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Prince Miteb said that the forum organized by the National Committee of Building Code aims at implementing the national plan for preparing a unified building code in the Kingdom, urging the committee to make this vital project successful to meet the present and future needs of construction and building sector in the Kingdom to provide comfortable, safe, and easily accessed houses.
