Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef stressed the depth of the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, as they had a direct impact on promoting the unified visions to achieve sustainable development goals and finding promising investment opportunities between the two countries, especially in the industrial and mineral resources sectors. He said that the visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is an opportunity to enhance the cooperation and continuous coordination between the officials of the two countries to exchange expertise in legislation, regulations and industrial experiences with the aim of achieving industrial integration between the two countries. The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources pointed out that the volume of the Saudi non-oil exports to the Sultanate of Oman amounted to more than SAR 17 billion during the last five years, adding that the Saudi Industrial Development Fund contributed to financing two joint projects with the Sultanate of Oman with a value exceeding SAR 90 million.
