Prince Metib bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, has issued a decision for formation of an appeal and grievances committee for the municipal elections in Riyadh region. The committee is formed as follows: Dr Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Mideimigh as chairman Dr Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Marzouki: member Dr Faisal bin Abdel-Kadir Tahir: member Dr Mohammed Al-Abdullah Al-Zikri: member The committee, which will be concerned with issues pertaining to electoral appeals and grievances, will practice its activities in line with the municipal systems and statutes. It will be supported by an administrative body that linked with the chairman of the committee. The committee is entitled to appoint representatives at the constituencies for tackling issues pertaining to electoral appeals and grievances. The committee will submit an elaborated report to the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs on its activities. The decision urges the concerned authorities to cooperate with the committee and to provide it with the required information so as to enable it perform its mission in a satisfactory manner.
