Germany extends 30 millions Euro Educational Grant to Pakistan

Germany will provide a grant of 30
millions Euro for promotion of basic education in Pakistan's Punjab
province, according to an official statement.
This was disclosed by Head of a German delegation and Director for Asia, South Eastern Europe and Afghanistan, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr. Rainer Goerdeler in a meeting with Punjab Education Minister Imran Masood.
Dr Rainer Goerdeler said that the German government is interested in helping Pakistan in the poverty reduction programme in rural areas.
