The Rabat-based Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the National Center for E-Learning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture and Science held a virtual meeting today, to discuss developing a framework for partnership and cooperation in the field of e-learning and possibilities for upgrading the educational system. The Director-General of ISESCO Dr. Salem bin Mohammad Al-Malik, the Director-General of the Saudi National Center for E-Learning Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Al-Walidi, and the Secretary-General of the Saudi National Committee Hattan Munir bin Samman, each represented his organization in the meeting. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Walidi pointed out that the importance of e-learning lies in providing high-quality education, equitably available to the largest number of learners, expressing the Center's readiness to provide support and share expertise and experiences with ISESCO and its member states, in order to advance the e-learning sector.
