His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received a written letter from the head of the Transitional Military Council of the Republic of Chad, General Mahamat Idriss Déby, regarding bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them in various fields. On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of State for African Affairs, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan was handed over the letter here today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chad, Sherif Mohamed Zain, currently on a visit to the Kingdom. During the meeting, Qattan welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad and his accompanying delegation. They discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Chad and ways of enhancing them in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international issues of common interest.
