King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched a voluntary medical campaign for open heart surgery and catheterization in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for the year 2021, it was reported here today. During the first day of the campaign, which started yesterday, the volunteer medical team conducted 16 surgeries, including seven open-heart surgeries and nine catheterization surgeries, all were successful. For his part, the Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Dr. Hazaa bin Zabin Al-Mutairi, paid an inspection visit to the hospital where the team performed operations.
