Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), today stressed the importance and role of the GCC Police (GCCPOL), which acts as a major tributary to strengthening the joint Gulf security action. This came during a visit to the GCCPOL service in Abu Dhabi, UAE today, where he and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the efforts made by the agency to advance the process of joint Gulf security work and to achieve integration among the GCC security services in various areas of combating crimes. Al-Hajraf praised the active role of the GCCPOL in coordinating among the GCC security agencies with regional and international security organizations to achieve the GCC's goals in protecting security and stability for the local communities. The visit was attended by a number of officials.
